Indore, August 21, 2012: An induction programme ‘Aagaaz-2012’ for B.E. students organized at Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research (AITR) was attended by more than 500 students and their parents. The programme started with offering prayer to Goddess Saraswati by lighting the lamp by the students itself who scored highest in PET examination.
Mr. Ashok Sojatia (Chairman, Acropolis Group of Institutions) threw light on the trend and culture of the Acropolis Group and also discussed about institute’s vision and mission. He transpired the students about practical based subjects. He said that, students could study theory at home but engineering field being more related to practicality, they must make it a point to attend college regularly. Mr. Sojatia also encouraged students to take various social initiatives and take it as their own social responsibility and work towards its betterment simultaneously.
Dr. M.D. Agrawal, Director, Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research, briefed about the four factors which are foremost important for any institution i.e., Management, Faculty, Infrastructure and Students. The first three factors are very well fulfilled by the Institution. He furnished detailed information about institute’s experienced and qualified faculties and well equipped laboratories which must be part and parcel of every good and competent institution. He stressed on the fourth factor, which becomes the sole responsibility of students to get it done. He said that, as the institution fulfills all the requirements of students, from his studies to his placement and better life, the institution also expect something good from students so that the name of the Institution could be glorified. It is their responsibility to make it possible by following each and every code of conduct and being punctual and learning good as much as he can from the institution.
All the HOD’s of the Institute explained the students about the code of conduct of the Institute. The whole programme was structured under the guidance of Dr. Kamal Bharani (Principal, AITR) and Prof. Kamal Sethi (HOD, IT). Mr. Gaurav Sojatia (Chairman) and Mr. M.K. Dube (CEO) was also present during the program. Ms. Meeta Baid and Mr. Jayant Bihare compeered the programme. The vote of thanks was casted by Prof. Kamal Sethi (HOD, Information Technology).
