Objective of Event- Appraise students on the relevance of Value Addition Certification on Trading particularly on GOTC (which has very wide visibility) through Simulation Software.

Report – Ms Urvi Babla – Head and BD TrakInvest briefed on the nuances of Trading along with certain myths associated with Trading. While addressing the student she highlighted the importance of learning using Simulation which has all the ingredients to make learning fun. She stressed the factors that investor has to keep in mind while designing portfolio for investing. Citing example she suggested that it may not be a wiseful thinking to invest in softdrink industry, at a longer perspective, looking at the shift in consumer taste and preferences, as they are getting more health conscious. Similarly emerging global trend in automobile industry is likely to make investment in fossil fuel based industry infructuous in the longer run. Later on she went on appraising student on the Simulation platform and intricacies of how to earn profit using the virtual money worth Rs 50,00,000 given to each participant using real time data from Stock Market.
