Enigma 2011

REPORT OF ENIGMA – 2011 (20-21-22 January)
THE MANAGEMENT FEST OF ACROPOLIS
Acropolis Faculty of Management & Research and Faculty of Management Studies have organized Second Inter-Collegiate Management Fest “ENIGMA-2011” on 20-21-22 January, 2011.
ENIGMA-2011, the three-day mega event was aimed at discovering the hidden talents of management students. There were 13 events organized in Enigma – Business Quiz, Business Plan, Extempore, Case Study, Company Review, Poster Making, Ad Mad show, Skit, Summer Project presentation, Treasure Hunt, Antakshari, Dance competition and Singing competition.
The three day event was started off with Inaugural event on 20 January 2011. Dr. Rajeev Nayan from Grasim was the Chief Guest for inaugural event. He enlightened the audience with his speech. Director and event coordinator have shown the preface of Enigma. Followed by the inaugural event was Business Quiz, the first event of Enigma. Extempore, Case Study competition and company review were the other events of the first day.
The second day 21 January started with business plan, poster making, ad mad show, skit competition and summer training presentation competition. These were the learning based events, where the students applied their classroom teaching lessons to practice. After two days of learning and presentation related events, the third day was meant for cultural events.
The third day 22 January started with Antakshari and treasure hunt. Singing and dancing competitions were the last competitions. There were solo and group singing participants and same for dance. The dance and skit competition witnessed marvelous talent of the students.
Finally, at the end of all the events, valedictory and prize giving function was organized on 22 January. Mr. Subir Verma (Reliance communications) and Mr. Rakesh Relan (HDFC Bank) were the chief guests for valedictory session in Enigma. They distributed the prizes to winners and runners. The winners of events were decided by eminent Judges from respective fields. There were 14 winners for various events in Enigma. Participation certificates were given to all. Sanghvi Innovative Academy was declared as the college with maximum winners.
There were 300+ participants from reputed institutes like: IMS Indore, IIPS, Prestige Indore, IPS Academy, SVIM, SVITS, GSIMR, Medicaps, Sanghvi Institute, Sanghvi Innovative Academy, Venkateshwar, IIFTR, IIPM, SD Bansal, Rishiraj, Arihant college, Acropolis campus II and the host institute. These students have taken good memories of Enigma with them. The participation of both campuses of Acropolis was excellent and appreciated by all. We have proved to be an ideal host.
This time, the sponsors gave warm response to Enigma. Enigma was able to fetch sponsorship from Biocert India, Lions club, Tata securities, Buddies café, Pepsi etc.
The aim of Enigma to explore the hidden potential of MBA students and make it a ‘learning by doing’ exercise has been achieved.  This was an error-free event of Acropolis, which was managed successfully by the Collaborative efforts of MBA faculty members and students under the guidance of Director and management of Acropolis without generating any financial liability.
