An FDP  was organized on ‘Content Analyses ’ for the MBA faculty  by Prof Juhi Kamakoty.  The resource person for the event was Ms Vaishali Garg,  a n alumnus  of IMS, Indore who is presently pursuing PhD form IIM, Indore.

The research scholar gave a snippet view of her research work and shared the research methodology used by her for the  research work. She elaborated on the various types of research methods and the relative merits and demerits of  them. Case survey  method  and content analysis were  detailed over by the resource person. She also brought out the relevance of this method and suitability in specific situation.  She also touched on qualitative research  and  triangulation technique in research.

The discourse given by the scholar guest was very  engrossing and interesting. It threw light on some of the advanced  techniques in research and  broadened  everyone’s perspective. The talk culminated into queries and discussion, thus adding to everyone’s understanding of research.
