A FDP was organized on “WISDOM FROM AGE OLD PARADOXES: An Attempt to View from Management Perspective” by Dr. Anand Bhatt and Dr. Prachi Sharma in MBA department for the MBA Faculty members. The resource person for the event was Mr. Amit Bhatt, Asia Pacific Head for Corporate Functions at Chemours Company (formerly DuPont chemicals).
The FDP was purely a wisdom creation session, based on group discussions, debates and faculty members learned the final outcome with the help of Polarity Management Theory by Barry Johnson. He discussed the concepts from Mahabharat and modern management using the ideas of Bhishma Pitamah, Bharat, Ramcharan, Daniel coyde etc. He discussed on three paradoxes- Leader are born or made, Focus on Competency or capability building and Inside-Out Vs Outside -In approach and he linked these paradoxes with the management Institution.
The session was very informative and beneficial for faculty members and was appreciated by all.
