HR Conclave(DAVV) March 2015

HR had covered a long way from time keeper till date but the destination of strategic partner is still a long journey. Use of technology based tools such as Job portals, Social Media has given new avenues to HR Practices. Technology is dead, organizations get life from HR persons .The need for the hour is for smart and solution provider HR. The world is not e-nough. Who will bring people connect, feelings ,the human touch ,the most basic of all human need being the need to understand and be understood-understand people and listen to them.

Under HR Club-Sanmarg, students of MBA Semester 2 attended HR Conclave-2015 organized by Career Counseling and Opportunity Cell, DAVV Auditorium on March 26, 2015. The session was chaired by eminent speakers in HR area viz. Mr Subodh Moharil (DGM-HR, Eicher Truck & Buses);  Mr Malay Chaturvedi (VP- HR-Idea Cellular); Mr Harmeet Singh (HR, Dias Park);  & Mr Anupam Tiwari (GM- HR, Ranbaxy).The session focused on the interrelationship of human resource management functions and the increasing utilization of technology and reflected that all managers are necessarily involved with human resources. These sessions provided helpful insights to these students who aspire to be on HR Manager positions.
