TSDC & Department of Computer Applications organized a PHP-MySQL Workshop for Acropolis students of different departments ( MCA, CS, IT) from 16th JAN 2012 to 8th FEB 2012, this workshop was in association with Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay, funded by National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Govt. of India.
PHP is a general-purpose server-side scripting language originally designed for Web development to produce dynamic Web pages. It is one of the first developed server-side scripting languages to be embedded into an HTML source document.
MySQL is the world’s most used relational database management system (RDBMS) that runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of databases; it is also the most popular choice as a database for PHP applications.
The objective of PHP-MySQL workshop was to introduce our students to PHP-MySQL – installation, configuration, dynamic web application development using PHP-MySQL and application deployment.
