Industrial Relations – Mr. Shreyas Acharya (12 April 2016)

To churn out  the best quality humanware  that befits the industry, academia need to centrifuge with industry. Academia establishes theories, Industry propagates practices. To  ingrain  sound theory and   contemporary practices in the students , education  cannot be restricted to  the four walls of classroom. Either students go to the industry or the industry comes to the students. At Acropolis (North Campus) we practice both in the form of industrial visits and expert talk.

An expert talk had been organized for MBA on ‘Industrial Relations’.  The resource person for this talk was Mr. Shreyas Acharya, IR Head of Mahindra Two Wheeler, Pithampur. The learned speaker sensitized our MBA students on the various facets of  Industrial Relation  and also how it effects  the working and productivity of the organization.   He  bought forth the immense career  opportunity that lies  in this area but at the same time told the students about the challenges in handling the human ware of the organization.  He encouraged the students to come forward  and make a career in this line, there is a ,lot to do here and off course it can be a very satisfying recourse in life.

The speaker also narrated the working IR of various reputed organization along with their glimpses and video to give a fullosme understanding to the students. The session was engrossing and interactive, punctuated with discussion and queries.
