Highlights of the Event
MBA department has organized an Online Guest session on “Becoming an Entrepreneur (Starting a Business)”. The speaker was Mr. Punit Khandelwal, who is a consultant at P. Khandelwal & Company in Indore. With over 15 years of experience, 10 years of consulting and 4 years of MSME Banking and Development. He has an expertise in the fields Banking, Finance, Consultation, and Policy formulation. He has a vast experience of working with Organizations such as Government of MP, Department of MSME, KPMG as associate consultant.
Takeaway from the session included:
- Starting a business requires identification of Scalability of business plans and executing the vision, mission and dominating decision making in business plan.
- The Government schemes for a startup, starting the proprietorship, and the Startup India schemes.
- Self-employment schemes, getting benefits from the schemes of government and subsidy on loan.
- E – Market places for the e – commerce activities to be generated in effective entrepreneurship planning.
The students were enabled to clarify their doubts and queries about the subject. The session was appreciated by all.
