Audience Profile: 1 faculty member and 15 Students of MBA Department.
Objective of the event: To emphasize the importance of creativity & innovative thinking among the
students.

Event Report:
IIC – Acropolis Faculty of Management and Research (AFMR), Indore Celebrated Innovation Day on
the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. IIC-AFMR hosted two competitions: Presentation
competition for MBA students and Scribing Art competition for all the departments.
In the presentation competition the students had to make a PowerPoint presentation on the Innovative
ways used by any company for marketing of a product / service / financial product during the pandemic
period. A team of maximum five members was allowed. This event was judged by Dr. Amit Kumar
Marwah. He is a Professor and Head in Mechanical Engineering Department of Acropolis Institute of
Technology & Research, Indore. The objective of the event was to develop speaking skills and nurture
the creativity of the students. The winner of the competition was Team – Nike ( Team members –
Mahima Jain, Shilpi Kanungo, Shivani Singh and Vishaka Wadhwani).
In the Scribing Art competition, the participant had to draw something unique according to the topic
given. Themes like Networking and Innovative Leadership were given on the spot. The drawing could be
done on a paper or using any software. The time limit was of 5 minutes. This event was judged by Prof.
Rajeev Gupta. He is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Acropolis Institute
of Technology and Research, Indore. The objective of the Scribing art competition was to develop
understanding, presence of mind and develop critical thinking and creative skills. The winner of the event
was Mahima Jain.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Students found out how the world is going for innovative thinking even in the pandemic period.
2. It improved their creative thinking ability.
