Role Play on SCAM 1992 on December 23, 2021

Objective: To create awareness among students about STOCK MARKET.

Department of MBA at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research, Indore under the aegis of Finance club has organized an event cum competition named as “Role Play on SCAM 1992”

on 23rd Dec 2021 for MBA 1st year Students.

Different teams were made from different sections and they performed the role play on the web series “Scam 1992”. The primary objective of the activity was to provide knowledge about stock market and scam happened in financial market in 1992 by Mr. Harshad Mehta. Quiz was also organized as fillers in the program where question related to accounting and finance were asked from the students. This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation of all the students.

Runner up team – The big bull from Section 2

Cash Prizes was also given to the winning teams.

Learning Outcomes: Some of the important business lessons that the activity “Role Play on SCAM 1992” teaches students:

  • Take calculated risks
  • Know what you are good at
  • Always function under the boundaries of law
  • Learn to take accountability for your mistakes.

Students have also gained knowledge about accounting and financial terminologies through filler quiz.
