Highlights of the Event

 

MBA department has organized an Online Guest session on 27/04/2021. The speaker was Dr.Kapil Shrimal , trainer Institute of Chartered Accountant of Indian, National Stock Exchange & Bombay Stock Exchange. The Students of semester II and IV in total around 80+ students attended the session.

The session was specially focused on the hands of practice on excel in the area of finance. Dr. Shrimal has explained and guided the student about the one of the area of financial management i.e. time value of money. With the help of real life case let, he has explained in very simple way how to apply the excel formulae in to the area of financial management. His special focus was on Time value of money.

He has discussed about the SIP ( Systematic Investment Plans ) and LIC policies with respect to time value of money.

He has also explained the concept of Equated monthly installment of loan for the repayment and how this concepts works. When has also analyzed the idea behind the concept of Pension Plans.
