Acropolis believes that research brings innovation and new ideas. Looking upon such need to explore newer innovative practices in business with value creation, Acropolis Faculty of Management & Research, Indore had   organized this Seventh International Conference on INNOVATIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES FOR CREATING VALUE IN GLOBAL ERA today.

The conference was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. V. K. Gupta, Professor IIM Indore, and Guest of Honor Dr. D. T. Manwani, MD, Quantile Analytics Pvt. Ltd. Indore along with the other dignitaries in the presence of delegates, faculty members and students. Dr. V. K. Gupta. The chief guest in his inaugural address spoke on the relevance of Value Addition in the current scenario. Dr. Manwani has highlighted the importance of innovation for developing sustainability in this competition driven business landscape and came forward with practical solutions that can be implemented to solve business and social problems. The welcome speech was delivered by principal of the institute Dr Manish Mittal. He emphasized the importance of innovation in business. He also said that Acropolis is committed to make a difference to the society and this conference is a humble effort to contribute to the society.

Prof Anshu Thakur, conference secretary gave a curtain raiser to the conference. She talked about the genesis and the evolution of the conference right from first to the sixth conference. She narrated the interesting and progressive journey of the conference from good to better and still getting better.

The   conference included seven different subthemes to address a broader array of stakeholders. Besides innovations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations & General Management, the subthemes also included innovations in the area of information Technology and Women’s role in social innovations. Out of more than 70 papers received across the globe, 46 papers were selected for the publication in conference Proceedings. The conference proceedings also included an entire section on student research.

Keeping up with tradition of releasing the Proceeding on the day of the conference, this year also the proceeding with ISSN No. was released in the conference inaugural by the dignitaries. As conference Secretary, Dr. Vaishali Maheshwari read the Vote of Thanks for Inaugural Session with the expectation of Grand success of Conference.

 

After the inaugural two plenary sessions were scheduled parallelly. Dr Manish Sitlani from IIPS and Dr Deepak Jaroliya from Prestige Institute of Management and Research were the session chairs. Apart from publications, today’s conference witnessed around 30 presentations on different issues like. Determinants of Non Performing Assets, Demonetization, The Study on Impact of Behavioral Finance, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ON E-BANKING, Recent trends in Green Marketing, Online marketing,  Customers attitude towards mobile marketing, Women’s in Non – Traditional Careers, Cyber Weapon Market, Productivity Enhancement and many more by the delegates from various Institutes. The Meaningful Suggestions and insights were given by the session chairs on different presentations to various delegates to improve their research work.

Everybody had enjoyed the discussions, presentations, agreement and disagreement of this intellectual gathering. Expecting with this was the opportunity provided by AFMR to make a small contribution to the world of research and innovation Prof. Anshu Thakur read the Vote of Thanks.
