Student Visit to RBI & BSE May 2015

 A visit was conducted by AFMR students for workshop to Bombay Stock Exchange & Reserve Bank of India for 5^th to 7^th May 2015.

The sessions on the first day of workshop at BSE were taken by Dr. Aditya Srinivasan (Chief Operating Officer & Chief Economist). The topic covered was “Indian Economy and Capital Market”; he also shared the trading techniques with the students. The lecture given by Dr. Aditya was very much enlightening for the students.

Second day’s session was taken by Miss Megha (Marketing Manager), she gave a brief description about the history of Bombay Stock Exchange and the students saw one of the largest convention hall of India that is BSE CONVENTION HALL. Finally, a group photo session was done with Dr. Aditya Srinivasan at BSE Convention Hall, followed by a photo with the Bull which shows the upward market condition.

On the third day the students visited Reserve Bank of India. At RBI the students visited Monetary Museum. All types of currencies are placed there from Barter System to the present Currency. And then at RBI, Dr. Aditya Srinivasan defined the process of Money Recycling and Redistribution in all the banks of India. The full process of collecting Money from Banks and Redistribution to them was told by him. The session also gave the students a wholesome knowledge about Indian Economy.

The visit was conducted under the aegis of Student Finance Club of Acropolis Faculty of Management and Research, Indore.
