‘Aagaaz-2013’ Induction Programme at Acropolis Institute
Indore, July 12, 2013: An induction programme ‘Aagaaz-2013’ for B.E. students organized at Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research (AITR) was attended by more than 500 students and their parents. The programme started with offering prayer to Goddess Saraswati by lighting the lamp by the students the students who scored highest in PET examination and their parents.
Mr. Ashok Sojatia (Chairman BOG, Acropolis Group of Institutions) threw light on the trend and culture of the Acropolis Group and also discussed about institute’s vision and mission. He said that, for good future, students must make it a point to attend college regularly. Mr. Sojatia also encouraged students to take various social initiatives and take it as their own social responsibility and work towards its betterment simultaneously.
Dr. M.D. Agrawal, Director, AITR, briefed about the four factors which are foremost important for any institution i.e., Management, Faculty, Infrastructure and Students. The first three factors are very well fulfilled by the Institution. He furnished detailed information about institute’s experienced and qualified faculties and well equipped laboratories which must be part and parcel of every good and competent institution. He stressed on the fourth factor, which becomes the sole responsibility of students to get it done. He said that, as the institution fulfills all the requirements of students, from his studies to his placement and better life, the institution also expect something good from students so that the name of the Institution could be glorified. It is their responsibility to make it possible by following each and every code of conduct and being punctual and learning good as much as he can from the institution.
Prof. Atul N Bharat, Group Director, Career Development Cell, Acropolis Group shared his views on employability skills, over all personality development and soft skill development of students for better placement. He said, “We prepare our students at Acropolis to have a good and their dream job in hand. Acropolis has hand-picked faculties who are highly qualified and students could interact with them and gain the desired knowledge. This knowledge will built immense confidence in them which is required in the industry. Our goal is to make our students employable and we would be available for them to guide them in each and every step.”
Dr. Kamal Bharani, Principal, AITR discussed Success Mantras and Institute’s Mentoring System among students. Prof. MK Dube, CEO, AITR encouraged students to work hard and be disciplined to achieve their goals. Dr. Jayantilal Bhandari, renowned Career Counselor and Director, AIMSR discussed on present career scenario and possibilities among students.
Prof. Sanjay Bansal (HOD, CS) of the Institute explained the students about the code of conduct of the Institute. The whole programme was structured under the guidance of Prof. Kamal Sethi (HOD, IT). The occasion was also marked by the presence ofMr. Gaurav Sojatia (Chairman, AITR), Dr. Ashok Kumat (Vice-Chairman, AITR) and the Head of Department of all the departments. Prof. Vaishali Rao and Prof. Gaurav Chaitanya compeered the programme. The vote of thanks was casted by Prof. Kamal Sethi.
