Acropolis faculty and family picnic was organized by Prof. R.B. Purohit, HOD ME department and his team on 27th
December 2012. The picnic was enjoyed by around 192 members of the family.
The day started with the ACRO buses reaching the Somanipuram adventure park (situated on Khandwa Road, Indore) in the morning around 9.30am. As everybody looked around and enjoyed the greenery and the country side atmosphere it was 10.30 am. A perfect Indorean style breakfast Poha-Jalebi blended with sumptuous sunshine was served. Everybody was in some way or the other indulged in the sweet whispers of admiration for the choice of the picnic place. After this, the Acropolis family went on to enjoy the adventure sports in the park. Everyone including children started to enjoy the rope adventures, bungee jumping, boating, swimming and various other activities already present there.
This was then followed by the interesting games organized by the team members of the picnic committee. Chair race, one minute games and intermittent jokes and nursery rhyme recitals on the mike by little children were some of them. The chair race gained more momentum as our CEO Prof. M.K. Dubey, Principal Prof. Kamal Bharani and HOD’s of various departments with their family members also participated. The picnic was in full swing as our Chairman BOG Mr. Ashok Sojatia and Chairman AITR Mr.Gaurav Sojatia arrived at the spot.
Soon after this was followed by a typical Malwa style lunch “Dal-Bafla-Ladoo” Then was the time for the housie game. The picnic ended around 4.30 pm with all the buses headed to the college.

2. One minute games winner and runner – Mr. Shailesh Gondal MCA department and Mr. Kishore Choudhary MCA department.
