Acropolis Institute launches Indore Entrepreneur Network – Energizing Start-Ups chapter during ongoing E-Week
Indore, February 14, 2013: To provide the solutions to problems faced by aspiring entrepreneurs, ranging from finances to creative block, E-Cell of Acropolis Institute, Indore launched Indore Entrepreneur Network – Energizing Start-Ups during ongoing E-Week organized by National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN). The chapter was launched by Mr. Amit Grover, IIT-I Alumni and founder Nurture Talents, Gurgaon and Mr. Jatin Chaudhary, Engineer from Nirma Institute of Technology, Ahmadabad and Founder of Point Ten Solutions, the chief guests and the mentors of the entrepreneurs in this chapter. The chapter is likely to solve all the issues faced by the risk taking first and second generation entrepreneurs of the state of MP and Indore. This start-up chapter will invite problems of the young entrepreneurs while setting up their business and will then provide solutions for coping up with difficulties.
In the welcome address, Prof. Atul Bharat, Group Director-Career Development Cell, Acropolis Institute briefed about the startup chapter. He expressed the need of having the chapter which will provide the right platform to proceed to everyone who faces various problems in living and fulfilling their dream. He ensured everyone that this chapter will be a support that will enable the entrepreneurs to flourish their own self and their business.
There were 22 entrepreneurs present during the launch of the chapter; some of them were from FYI, Chai Bar, Zarrurat.com, Golden Sticks, ND Tatoo, On the House, Dream Craft, Care Agri Infrastructure, Click A Book, Twist Mobile etc.
Other activities held during the day:
There were various activities held in the campus where Acro students enthusiastically participated. The first activity was Street Bazar in which students with their decorative stalls showcased their best selling capabilities of an idea and displayed their entrepreneurial skills. Another activity lined up was Innovating the campus in which students located the problem areas of the campus and provided the convenient and best solutions to rectify them. Third activity was Start-up cases submission in which students was asked to choose a case of a successful entrepreneur and was required to study it and present the case in their way. The fourth activity was Research Paper Submission.
