Acropolis Institute’s Two-day Annual Function ‘ARDOR 2013’

First day (March 01) of Annual Function ‘ARDOR 2013’:

“Every school and college must encourage sports in its campus, so that each and every student could develop sportsman spirit in himself/herself”, this was transpired by Chief Guest, Dr. MK Bhargava, Chairman, MP Cricket Association while inaugurating two-day Annual Function ‘ARDOR 2013’ organized by Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research (AITR), Indore.
Dr. Bhargava showed his gratitude towards the institute and further said, “Participation in extra-curricular activities is must with studies for a student which will help him in the overall development of the personality. This will help him to lead a successful life in future.”
The floral welcome was done by Prof. MK Dube (CEO, AITR) and Dr. MD Agrawal (Director, AITR). The Welcome Speech was given by Dr. Kamal Bharani (Principal, AITR). The event was marked by the presence of Mr. Gaurav Sojatia (Chairman). Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. S.S. Chawda.
Events held on first day:
Students showcased their extraordinary talent by participating in singing ‘Swaranjali’ and dancing ‘Nrityanjali’ competition making the atmosphere pleasant. In Swaranjali students gave solo and duet performances and connected with the audience through their melodious voice. In Nrityanjali students performed on various attractive latest dance numbers. Along with these performances the students were also awarded with prizes for their participation and contribution in various sports and cultural activities round the year.
Second day (March 02) of Annual Function ‘ARDOR 2013’:
 “Today, every student in our state has good knowledge base and information. But, to achieve success, one must be presentable also. These type of events organized by Acropolis Institute encourage the students to come forward and work dedicatedly”, this was transpired by Chief Guest, Mr. Rakesh Gupta, DIG, Indore during the last day of two-day Annual Function ‘ARDOR 2013’organized by Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research (AITR), Indore.
In the address, Mr. Rakesh Gupta further said, “There is no shortcut to success. Hard work is very necessary. Where success and good position is important, one must be good human being with good values to achieve and maintain it.”
Addressing the students, Guest of Honour, Mr. T.G. Kutty Menon, Padma Shri, Social Worker said, “There are four pillars to success. First is to set an aim. Second is to study and follow that aim. Third is to fulfill your aim with honesty. And, fourth is to face the difficulties and take them as a challenge.”
Mr. Menon further said that the youth of our country are the ones who can destroy all the corruption from our country. Our country has various good resources, but the main point is to use them wisely.

The welcome speech was delivered by CEO of Acropolis Institute, Prof. MK Dube. Dr. MD Agrawal, Director of the Institute presented Annual Report. The occasion was marked by the presence of Mr. Ashok Sojatia (Chairman BOG), Mr. Ashish Sojatia (Group Chairman) and Mr. Gaurav Sojatia (Chairman). Vote of thanks was proposed by Principal of the Institute, Dr. Kamal Bharani.
Events held on Second day:
The main attraction of the Annual Function was its cultural program. The students were awarded with prizes for their valuable national and international achievements during the program.The Cultural Event was inaugurated with a semi-classical group dance ‘Dasha-Avtaram’ wherein students beautifully presented the ten avatars of God Vishnu. The audience was revitalized listening to the mellifluous songs such as dagabaaz re, sayoni, pani da, angrezi beat etc sung by the students. Further in the program, students presented group dance of five fusion songs- oo re piya, abhi mujme kahin, bhare naina in contemporary cum prop act using mirror and ribbons as their prop. Students also presented Bhangra making the atmosphere more colorful. In Retro Fever, students presented various popular songs such as kajra mohhbat wala, oo mere sona re, apni toh jaise taise, jai jai shiv shankar etc and forced everyone to sing with their notes.
Further in the series of vibrant events, students danced on the songs of the movie ABCD and forced everyone to dance with their beats. A skit on ‘Back to School’ was also presented wherein students displayed school life and received tremendous applaud.
Acro students coordinated the cultural program. The program was hosted by Prof. Meeta Baid and Prof. Jayant Bihare. The program was well coordinated and directed by Mr. SK. Sohani and Mr. Gaurav Chaitnya.
