Report on Expert Talk: Creative Copy Writing

To churn out the best quality humanware that befits the industry, academia need to centrifuge with industry. Academia establishes theories, Industry propagates practices. To ingrain sound theory and contemporary practices in the students, education cannot be restricted to the four walls of classroom. Either students go to the industry or the industry comes to the students. At Acropolis (North Campus) we practice both in the form of industrial visits and expert talk.
In order to connect the theories with the practices of Management an expert talk had been organized by AFMR/AITR (MBA), Indore on ‘Creative Copy writing’. The resource person for this talk was Mr. Prabudh Dubey, Creative Director of Srijan Advertising Agency, Indore. He enlightened the students on the working of Advt agency, the challenges and the skills required to overcome and sustain in advertising world. He emphasized that advertising is an ever evolving dynamic area and you need immense amount of creative muscle for survival. While creativity is an inborn talent, it differs across the individuals as far as the quotient is concerned. Nevertheless the creative output of the person can be enhanced to an extent. Likewise the eminent and learned speaker discussed various examples of creativity copy writing with the students.

The resource person for this talk was Mr. Kamlesh Kumarey Head- Marketing & Client Servicing of Srijan Advertising Agency, Indore.He enlightened the students on the marketing function of Advt agency, the challenges and the skills required to overcome and sustain in advertising world. The toughest challenges faced by an advertising agency today are, demanding customer and tough competition. It is the USP mantra that is required to stay ahead and have a smooth sail. Gone are the days when advertising was just communicating to the customer about product, today it is way ahead of this, encompassing many more dimensions and expansions.
The students developed new perspectives about advertising and understood the skills they should develop so that they may have a career in this growing field.
