Dental Check Up & Consultation Camp October 16,17,18-2015

Under the banner of NSS-Self Financed Unit of Acropolis Faculty of Management and Research in association with Government College of Dentistry, a free Dental Check Up & Consultation Camp was organized on October 16-18,2015 .The purpose of the camp was to make public aware about dental problems, their treatments and methods of prevention.

  Students, Staff and Academicians from Acropolis North Campus came up for the check up. A team of 15 doctors from Government College of Dentistry conducted the oral check up. Dr Sandeep Singh Director AFMR welcomed the guests with Happiness Tree. Before starting with the check up , a session was conducted by Dr Sandhya Jain ( HOD, Orthodontics) explaining  in detail about the root cause of the dental and  oral health problems, and  how one can avoid it to  maintain dental hygiene. Students also asked the queries they had in their mind which were solved by the Doctors. After check up, they gave referral slips to students who needed further treatment. The further treatment would be provided free at the college.

A total number of 210 were the beneficiary of this camp.

The contribution of NSS Volunteers helped to bring success to the Camp. The camp was co-ordinated by NSS Programme Officer Dr Rajeshwari Gwal.
