E-Lead 2019 – 15/03/19 and 16/03/19

With the objective to inculcate the seed of entrepreneurship among students and to provide an exposure to students to the entrepreneurial world,  E-Lead 2019, Acropolis’ the very first entrepreneurship summit was organized by Entrepreneurship Cell of Acropolis Group of Institutions. The theme of the event was E-LEAD: Forge Sustainable Future. It was a two day event, a blend of inspiring speaker sessions, thought provoking panel discussion and the flagship event of Acropolis – PitchBiz 2019: Investors Meet Founders.

Mr. Anil Chhikara – CEO, Startup India Foundation, Mr. Gautam Khetrapal – Founder, LifePlugin and Ms. Anu Meena – Founder, AgroWave were the eminent speakers for the event. The speakers for the Panel Discussion were namely, Ms. Mahalakshmi Saravanan – Founder, Women Entrepreneurs India, Ms. Punita S Kapoor – Deputy Editor, Entrepreneur Magazine, Mr. Anshul Dave – CEO and Managing Partner, Ocean Bridge LLP, Mr. Sushanto Mitra – CEO Lead Angels Network and Mr. Anil Chhikara – CEO, Startup India Foundation. The Panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Kaustubh Dhargalkar – Founder, Potential and Possibilities. He also facilitated Business Model Canvas Workshop which aimed to instill students with the knowledge of business and to add value to their ideas. Students from various colleges participated in this workshop organized by AITR in association with Rajiv Gandhi Technical University under TEQIP-III.

Pitch Biz event also had an esteemed panel of investors namely, Mr. Vinod Keni – Growth Partner, Artha Venture Funds, Mr. Anshul Dave – CEO and Managing Partner, Ocean Bridge LLP, Ms. Neha Jain – Co-Founder, Z Nation Lab, Mr. Sushanto Mitra – CEO Lead Angels Network, Mr. Vishal Ramaswamy – Vice President, Alteria Capital, Mr. Kiran Mehta – CEO, Sridham Enterprises LLP, Ms. Nidhi Saraf – Founder and CEO, Key Ventures, Mr. Abhishek Sanghvi Swan Angel Network. Upvaas Hospitality – Indore,  Gohippo Logistic – Indore, Drug Mega Mart – Indore, Carragreen – Indore, Safexpay – Mumbai were a few among the shortlisted Startup Participants. This event helped the startups find a support system while educating students about the current trends in startup culture, teaching them the art of seeking funds and identifying the gaps within market, initiating a realization about the importance of a 10-minute pitch and five minutes of straight grilling that acts as an important step in the growth of startup. MBA students also participated in this event alongwith students from ATC, AIMSR, AIPER and AITR. The summit made the students realize the potential required to be a successful person and how to convert an inspiration to an idea. It was a holistic experience of learning and discovering self.
