Acropolis Faculty of Management and Research organized the Eighth International Conference 2018 on “Innovation Business Practices for Creating Value in Global Era” on September 28 – 29, 2018. The objective of the Conference was to generate a stage for ideasharing with respect to innovation in global era and to provide a common platfrom for sharing quality research papers and articles. The conference was started with a pre conference workshop on Research Methodology on September 28, 2018. During the workshop, emphases were on the Concept and Applications of Research, Guidelines for Review of Literature and Questionnaire Design, Hands on using SPSS and techniques of Quality Research Paper writing. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Vivek Sharma from Institute of Management Studies, DAVV Indore. The second day of the conference started with the Inaugural of the Eighth International Conference. The chief guests for the same were Dr. P. K. Singh, Professor IIM Indore and Mr. Amit Kapoor, GM, Mittal Appliances. This year, the contributors and delegates were from various institutions all over the country namly Sumandeep Vidyapeeth (deemed to be University) Vadodara; Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies, Banglore; St. Bede’s College Shimla; SAL Institute of Technology and Engineering Research, Ahemdabad; Kushabhau Thakre Patrakaritan Avam, Jansanchar Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur; SNBP College of Arts Commerce Science and Management Studies, Pune; The Bhopal School of Sciences, Bhopal to name a few and received more than 55 full research papers out of which 42 papers were published after reviewing by the editorial committee in the form of Edited Book with an ISBN number. During the inaugural session, the Conference Book was also unveiled. After the Inaugural session, the research paper presentation took place in three parallel sessions. Around 12 – 15 presentations were made during each session which resulted into a knowledge sharing between the delegates. Best research papers of the session awarded to the presenters in each concurrent session. The session chairs for the concurrent sessions were Dr. S. G. Desai from Ahemdabad; Dr. N.K. Totala, IMS , DAVV, Indore and Dr. Yamini Karmarkar, IIPS, DAVV, Indore.
