Mr. Ashish  talked about the latest Operations management techniques and trends. The resource person discussed the various on field projects  to give the students an idea of applicability of  the subject.  He reinstated the need of appending the OM knowledge with the latest tools and techniques of the domain to enhance the employability of the students. The resource person introduced terms like  SCM, Logistics, 3PL, 4PL etc  to the students. He talked about the practices in SCM  which are actually used in the contemporary scenario and enlightened students on the various job profiles in this area .  He also highlighted the relevance of the subject for MBA students and emphasizes on developing the right attitude and skill set from the day itself if they perceive a career in this line. He stated that it is an evergreen and dynamic field with challenging jobs. The students need to have the right knowledge and skill to make it big here.

The session was interesting and engrossing. The expert talk eventually ended opening up new horizons for the students.
