An expert talk was organized on ‘Data Sciences’ for the MBA students by Prof Sandeep Singh

The resource person for the event was Mr. Nitin Agarwal, a veteran in  data sciences. He  is an IIT graduate from Mumbai, who holds an M.S. and PhD degree from North Carolina state university, USA. He spans  a vast eclectic career in industry, academia and consultancy that includes a decade with SAS, USA and a decade with IIM, Indore

Mr.Nitin Agarwal threw light on the concept of data sciences and also high lighted that growing importance of data science professional in future.   He also highlighted the relevance of the subject for MBA students and emphasizes on developing the right attitude and skill set from the day itself if they perceive a career in this line. He stated that it is an evergreen and dynamic field with challenging jobs. The students need to have the right knowledge and skill to make it big here.

The students were excited to know about this unsought field. The expert talk eventually ended opening up new horizons for the students.
