An expert talk was organized on ‘Data Sciences’ for the MBA students by Prof  Juhi Kamakoty

The resource person for the event was Mr. Ramnendra Mandloi, a veteran in  data sciences. He  is an engineering  graduate from SGSITS Indore,  who holds an M.Tech degree  from  IIT , Delhi. He has been involved in training and development of more than 7500 peoples in subjects like Six Sigma, Multivariate Data Analysis, Design of Experiments, Data Science, Machine Learning, Quality tools, Management systems etc. in the countries like India/Malaysia/Singapore and  Thailand . Mr.Ramnendra Mandloi  threw light on the concept of data sciences and also high lighted that growing importance of data science professional in future.   He  highlighted the relevance of the subject for MBA students and emphasized  on developing the right attitude and skill set from the day itself if they perceive a career in this line. He stated that it is an evergreen and dynamic field with challenging jobs. The students need to have the right knowledge and skill to make it big here.

The students were excited to know about this green  field. The expert talk eventually ended opening up new horizons for the students.
