Brief about the course:
Acropolis Faculty of Management & Research (AFMR) situated at the Manglia Bypass, Indore, organized a 15 day’s certificate course on GST for its MBA students. The course was named as ‘Goods & Services Tax Management Program (GSTMP)’. The course was organized during Nov. 1 – Nov. 25 at the Institute. The classes were being conducted for 2 hours a day for 15 days. This 30 hours meticulously designed program covered all relevant philosophy and practice of GST and was delivered by eminent practicing Chartered Accountants (CA) of Indore. Students also got a chance to have hands on experience of practical aspect of GST through 3 day’s short term internship in Indore under a practicing Chartered Accountant (CA). An evaluation test was also conducted at the end of the program to test the understanding of the students about the GST law, on the basis of which the certificate of completion was awarded to the successful students with the relevant grades. The objective of the course was to make the students aware about the biggest transformation in Indirect Tax Laws in India i.e. Goods & Services Tax (GST). This will ultimately help them in their campus placement and will also make them able-enough to practice independently as a GST Practitioner.
