Green Utsav 2.0-Plantation Drive on 03/08/19

YuvAcro-Social and Youth Club, E-Cell organised the event ‘Green Utsav 2.0-Plantation Drive’ on 3^rd Aug, 2019 in college campus. The event was organized in association with Mahindra Finance to create the awareness towards the environment by promoting plantation. They sponsored 1140 saplings for Acropolis campus as a part of their CSR activity. Prof. Atul Bharat, Group Director CDC, Acropolis Group of Institutions gave the welcome speech followed by group song performances by E-Cell faculty leaders and AFMR faculty members and an address given by Mr. Sujith Shrivastava, State Head HR, from Mahindra group. The alumni of AIMSR and AFMR department working with Mahindra, thanked Acropolis for the support and guidance provided to them by the Institute. The employees of Mahindra also participated in sapling plantation in the campus.

Thereafter, Ms. Anupama Modi announced the winners of the Interdepartmental Competition organized on the same day, wherein all the departments had to perform different tasks, one of which was to take pictures while planting saplings in the space allotted. The drive ended with cheerful faces and a belief that the small initiative towards protecting mother earth will bring a change in the environment and also will encourage the people to plant more trees. This event witnessed an enthusiastic participation from the students, faculties and employees of Mahindra family.
