Human Library – 28/07/18

Srijan’s LitMus Literary Club organised for the first time a unique event ‘Human Library’ a concept of Copenhagen, Denmark in collaboration with Human Library on 28th July, 2018 at AFMR Library. The objective of the event was to enable students to build a positive framework for conversation that can challenge the stereotypes of society through dialogues. The books were people and reading constituted an enlightening conversation where student could borrow a person, read him and share experiences. These ‘talking books’ comprised of Young Crypto Trader, Male Classical Dancer, Senior RJ, Educationist and Social Worker and so on. The students were motivated by these living and breathing books and the event received an overwhelming response from the students.
