Human Library on 27/07/19, Saturday

Srijan – E-Cell organised the event ‘Human Library’ on 27th July, 2019 at AFMR Library. The objective of the event was to establish a safe space for books and readers to converse freely. Thought-provoking questions were appreciated and answered by the books in a synchronized manner. Their aim was to spread the importance of tolerance and empathy between human beings. The books were people and their aim was to challenge the prejudices and to make aware our students about the challenges in choosing exceptional path. The books that told their own stories were namely Managing success at young age, Recovering alcoholic, Mountaineer, Professional Dog Trainer, Motor Cross Racer, and Manufacturing Industrialists. The students as well as the faculties were greatly motivated by these living books and they got a new perspective towards life.
