IDEA PITCHING COMPETITION on December 30, 2021

Objective: To get some creative and innovative ideas related to business.

An “Idea Pitching Competition” was organized by IIC-AFMR for MBA 1st year Students.

A template was shared with the student teams for presenting their business ideas. Seven teams presented their innovative ideas. The students explained their idea in 5 min and 3 minutes were reserved for questions and answers from the panel of judges as well as the audience.  It was great to see how students shared their unique and innovative ideas related to business.  Teams were judged on the basis of Novelty, Originality, Feasibility and Presentation of their idea. In the concluding part of the activity, Prof. Chandsarkar also shared information on how innovation and entrepreneurship is highly promoted in developed countries like Italy. This activity was highly appreciated by the audience. Winners were awarded cash prizes for the event. The winners were:

1^st winner – Megha Navadkar

Runner up – Shinjani Richhariya – Alankriti Rathore

Learning Outcomes: Key takeaways of the session were:

1. Students got a chance to showcase their out of the box ideas.
2. It enhanced the confidence and presentation skills of students.
