Induction Program – Aarohan 2017 – August 01 – 04, 2017 ( MBA Batch 2017 – 19 )

Aarohan – the MBA Induction Program of Acropolis Faculty of Management & Research (North Campus) was inaugurated on Tuesday August 01, 2017. The first day was marked as the formal inauguration of the event in the forenoon session followed by familiarization of the students with the Acropolis culture and cult in the post noon session. The next three days were full of management games and activities under the aegis of various clubs to involve the students and make them comfortable as Acropolians. The event was graced by Dr. Ashim Dutta Gupta, General Manager, Commercials, Gajra Differential Gears Ltd, Indore as the chief guest.
After OM chanting the program was formally inaugurated by the chief guest along with other dignitaries like- Mr. Ashok Sojatia, Chairman BOG, Acropolis Group of Institutions, Dr. Shamsher Singh – Vice Chairman, Academics, Prof. Atul Bharat, Group Director, Career Development Cell and Dr. Manish Mittal, Principal, AFMR.
Dr. Manish Mittal in his welcome speech congratulated the students for opting Acropolis. He assured the students that the next two years they will be given the best of education and opportunities to develop their potential and transform them into successful learners, confident individual and responsible citizens.

Mr Atul Bharat , Group Director, CDC emphasized that MBA is all about seamless integration of Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations. One needs to know all the domains well to become a good manager. Mr. Ashok Sojatia, Chairman, BOG, blessed the students and talked about values and ethics in real life. Dr. Shamsher Singh, Vice Chairman (Academics) emphasized on regularity in college. Dr. Ashim Dutta Gupt, the chief guest of the program, in his engrossing speech immediately connected with the students. He asked the students to develop virtues like focus, hard work and time management to be successful in their career. He said that learning should not be restricted to four walls of the class room but should be a continuous process.
The last segment of the program included encouraging and rewarding meritorious students of MBA batch 2015 for their regularity in academics. The students were given letter of appreciation and trophy for their regularity in first year. Dr. Shamsher Singh presented a memento to the chief guest. The program was conducted by Dr. Pragya Jaroliya, Induction Program Coordinator, Acropolis Faculty of Management and Research. The rest of the three days of Aarohan 2017 were more fun and frolic for the student. The second day started with Kaizen club activity. The post noon session of the same day was taken up by HR club for team building and coordination exercise. Marketing club activity – Ad mad show competition was planned on third day. The students worked on different themes and proposed their ad for the contest. In the post noon session movies projection was done to understand basics of management.  The movie shown to the students was “The Founder” based on the story of MacDonald. The Finance club activity ‘Stock Market simulation’ was conducted in the pre noon session of the fourth day. The students got an idea of the hustle and bustle of stock markets. On the post noon of fourth day, Kaizen club planned collage making competition for the student. The students displayed their creative and talent on the poster. All the winners for different club activities were given certificates.
