An industrial visit had been organized for the students of MBA (Sem I and Sem III -Operation Stream) to High Tech Metal Forming Ltd., Indore. The company is a manufacturer of auto components.  During the visit, the students  learned   about the  various production processes and facilities in the shop floor. They  could see the work flow and the layout of the place and realized how the two are interrelated.  They got an idea about MSME setup and how production planning and control takes place in such setups. In any shop floor , the real challenge is to increase  utilization of resources and optimize their use. The  students witnessed many such challenges of the shop floor and appreciated the need for management subject that they are presently studying.

The visit had been organised by Prof Juhi Kamakoty under the aegis of Kaizen club.
