Description:
A plant visit to Indore Sanchi Dugdh Plant, which is the most popular dairy unit in Indore and adjacent areas was organized by Ms. Prabha Tiwari, and was accompanied by the Faculty Coordinator, Dr. Juhi Kamakoty. The Sanchi dugdh unit industry visit was organized on 7th October 2022 for the students of MBA Semester III. The Sanchi Plant visited, is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Dairy Federation, Bhopal, and is in existence since 1982 and is termed as Sahakari Dugdh Sangh Maryadit. The purpose of the visit was to provide the students with an opportunity to learn practically and to understand various functional aspects of business management, as how practices are adopted for smooth and uninterrupted services. It also gives the students an exposure to current work practices in addition to theoretical knowledge being taught at their college classrooms.
The objective of the dairy unit visit was to provide the students an insight regarding the internal working of Sanchi Dairy Unit. And to make them understand that theoretical knowledge is just not enough for a successful professional career, there’s far more beyond academics. Hence, Sanchi plant visit provided students a much relevant practical perspective, as how the actual work happens within the plant unit and the larger business as a whole. At the end, we all thanked Mr. Manoj for his time and efforts in showing the unit and clicked a group photograph. We presented memento, as a toke to thanks and remembrance to him.
