TEAM SUPER VELOCE :-
‘SUPRA SAE INDIA 2012’
Team SuperVeloce is a group of 24 HARDWORKING and DEDICATED mechanical engineering students of Acropolis Institute Of Technology and Research, Indore having Unity in diversity as they have united together to form a team of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students.
We qualified for main BAJA 2012 competition, competing against 242 teams from various engineering colleges all over the country in the pre-qualifier round called “Virtual BAJA 2011” held at Dayanand Sagar Institutions, Bangalore. In this we presented our design of buggy in front of eminent judges from various automotive industries like, General Motors, Boeing, Mahindra & Mahindra etc. After the selection of our team among 100 team for the main event in September, the fabrication process started from the very first day of announcement of results. We are ready with our vehicle to prove ourselves at the BAJA grounds near Pithampur, at the NATRAX facility of NATrip. The event is scheduled from 16th Feb’12 to 19th Feb’12 followed by HR meet from 20th Feb’12 to 21st Feb’12, Where various companies like M&M, GM, John Deere, Mahindra 2W, Tata Motors, Cummins, Varroc, Anand Group, ARAI, ICAT and Fleetguard will recruit the students participating in the event.

.“SUPERVELOCE” team who participated in Virtual Supra SAE India-2012 , Secured 1st position in India.

Industrial Visit was organized for Mechanical 2nd Year Students at RRCAT, Indore. This visit not only gives the experience to students but also induces scientific curiosity and develops vision of practical applicability of theoretical concept. Students find the advances technologies over their and benefitted by getting the knowledge of LASER, Cryogenics , Synchrotron radiation, Electromagnetic Production , Dipole , Quadrupled and sextupled Magnets.
