MBA department has organized an Online Guest session in Aarohan 2021 on 19/11/2021. The speaker was Dr. Jitendra Sharma. Mr. Sharma possesses a rich teaching experience of more than 20 years in the field of HR and Business Ethics. He has 50 research papers in his account, he has presented papers in IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore, IIM Raipur and other reputed institutes.
In his session, he told about benefits of Ethical standards personally and in business. Dr. Sharma discussed about ethical and management lessons from Ramayan & Mahabharat and their implications for managers. He also focused on higher moral values showcased by ethical leaders like Shastriji, Ratan Tata, Azem Premji and Narayan Murthy with examples. He suggested that to rise in life you have to be humble and stick to roots. He also discussed about responsibility of business for society, regulations about CSR and Showcased CSR done by Tata for 26/11 Taj Victims.
He concluded with a suggestion that when life blesses you financially, don’t raise your standard of living but raise your standard of giving.
