Objective of event : The Objective is to encourage the fitness and help us all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, anxiety, disease and to lead the nation towards fitness and wellness.

On the 7th International Yoga Day, Sports Dept. of Acropolis Group has organized a Yoga session from 7:00 am to 8:00 am on 21st June 2021 for all Acropolis Group members. The resource person for the event was Mr. Harsh Joshi, World’s Youngest Coach, an International Yoga Trainer, Marathon Runner, Fitness and Life Motivational Coach. The concept of Yoga Day is to encourage fitness and help us all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, disease etc.
In the event more than 100 faculty members, staff, and students, and their family members participated with full enthusiasm without gathering together anywhere. Everyone performed yoga at their own place without gathering together using the Online Google meet platform and motivated each other for a better future and wellbeing. Being physically fit is very important in today’s world. The theme of this International Yoga Day was “Be with Yoga, Be at Home”.
Yoga is a discipline and meditation which needs to be practiced physically, mentally, and spiritually. Yoga includes meditation, breathing techniques, and chanting as well as yoga postures. Yoga builds body strength and helps make us more flexible and balanced. It was originated in ancient India however being practiced all over the world in many countries. Yoga is that practice that can clean you up completely. Yoga also empowers us enough to discover happiness in making the world a happy place to live in. It lights up the fire inside the body for a life full of zeal and excitement. There are uncountable numbers of benefits related to practicing yoga. Yoga is very necessary and beneficial for all human beings. It enlightens the one who practices it on a regular basis.
