Career guidance provides a substantial understanding about the career that the student is considering or needs help in choosing the right career. This is useful because the students might or might not have an overall knowledge of careers and the kind of expectation that is put by employers on the incumbents who are opting for that career. It is also helpful to the student in a way that the student can avoid spending unnecessary time, effort and money in opting for those careers which he/she is not interested in or may be very difficult to pursue in their life. At Acropolis (North Campus) we practice to call experts to throw light on various fields & opportunities available after MBA.

A seminar was organized on “CAREER AWARENESS AND CAREER IN FINANCE” for the MBA students by Dr. Pooja Talreja, as a coordinator of Finance Club. The resource person for the event was Mr. Aman Kumar Mourya, Manager: Business Development, finOptions Institute of Financial Studies Pvt. Ltd.

Mr Mourya enlightened the students how to face an interview and the strategies to be adopted. It also included contents as well as how to frame a Resume when you seek a job and the impact of body language, dressings, confidence etc on the outcome of the interview. He also highlighted job opportunities after MBA program specifically for finance field. He mainly focused on Forecasting skills, Proficiency in: Ms excel, Ms office, Power point Presentation and communication skills, 360° degree knowledge of your specialization, etc.. The students were enabled to clarify their doubts and queries about various careers. The session was very beneficial to the aspiring students and was appreciated by all.
