Sports Events

As we know sports is a very essential part of our life It keeps us fit and healthy and also makes us forward in this competitive world It’s also he us in maintaining our ‘strength and keeps our body agile and aggressive. As this institution is known for its curricular activities it is also known for its co-curricular activities. This Institution supports a lot for sports to their students.

In Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research equal importance is given to the academic as well as sports activities. In our institutes we take specific interest in organizing outdoor as well as indoor games like, Cricket, Football, Handball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Chess etc.

We have two separate fields for Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Kho Kho and Handball. We have a Recreation center for all the indoor sports facilities like Table Tennis, Chess, yoga, Aerobic and Caroms with a Fitness Center.

Our sports laurels have participated at various levels like, Distt, State, National and University. In order to encourage the sports laurels, our Institute has given many facilities to the National & University players. But all these facilities is given to those students who maintain regularity in the class & perform well in academic field as well as.

Our students not only participated but they have brought recognition to the new Institutes by gaining award at various places. Our six-year-old institute is now famous amongst the various other Engineering. Institutes especially in sports. The students here work hard with team spirit to stand for a noble cause in sports that is, “our college should be a winner”. They have been sincerely proving it all the time. I wish them to continue this high spirit of teamwork so that our Institute gets recognition in front of many other engineering colleges, which are coming up.

For promoting various sports among students we organize annual sports Meet in Institute. In the a9nual meet various indoor and outdoor games are .organized. One faculty is appointed as in charge corresponding to each game. A team of student volunteers is also constructed for each game. (Normally those 1tudents who can’t make it for the inter branch team in this annual meet, are chosen for the volunteer ship, so that they won’t get demoralized and remain in touch with the game). And in whole In charge is responsible for the successful conduction of event and along With sports officer and sports conveners, selecting the best performers among all, for the inter college tournaments and nodal level tournaments. Collage is going through the process. for getting’s branch in campus.

Sports officer and ports conveners are responsible for developing-and improving the co ordination between the students. They use to council students from time to time, so that students can perform their best and minimize their mental pressure. Also for; this counseling purpose, we have appointed some sports coordinators as well. These student coordinators are responsible flowing queries of other students and faculties related with sports.

For motivating students we provide them 1 sports lecture weekly in their regular schedule. Apart from this, they can access sports room and facilities any time while they are free (while holidays, semester breaks and Sundays), Practice sessions are also provided for the students to practice for their upcoming tournament Relaxation in terms of TA/DA and class room attendance is provided to those students Who participate in any inter college, nodal level, state level and national level tournament.

Students are involved in various social activities. The winning prize is donated to poor and needy people. The Talmel Cup organized on 14 March 2008 by Archana Education and Welfare Society; Institute’s team secured 1st position and donated total winning prize  the poor and needy people.

We won the Nodal Inter – College Volley Ball Tournament, 2008 held between 14/10/08 to 18/1.0/08 at JagadguruDattatray College of Technology, Indore. 35 colleges from all over M.P participated in this e’4nt. Vaibhav Mathankar student of El 2′ Year was selected Es, the best player of the tournament. We were also 2!w Runner – Up in Nodal Inter -,College Chess Competition held between 10/11/08 to 11/11/08 at Chameli Devi Institute of Technology and Management, Indore. 38 colleges from all over M.P. participated in this event.

Also we were runner up in the Nodal Inter – College Volley Ball Tournament, 2009 Girls & Boys) held between 22-24^th  September 2009 at Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research, Indore, 38 colleges from all over M.P. participated in this events. Vaibhav Mathankár and Rahul Kansothiya student of El 3rd Year were selected as the best players of the tournament we are I also runner up in the t4odal Inter College Kho.Kho Tournament, 2009 (Girls) hel4 between 25th 26th September 1009 at LNCT, Indore.

We were fortunate enough as we could create milestones in the trials for RGPV Teams for various games also as many of our students were selected for the State & National Tournaments. The names of the students who were selected areas under:

AITR Runners up in the Hockey men’s title of the Indore Nodal Level Inter Collegiate  Tournament organized by the Malwa  Institute of Technology  Indore sponsored by the RGPV, Bhopal. On the basis of outstanding performance in the tournaments Parth Sarthi, Devanshu Upadhyay and Paresh Pagariya had been selected for the State Level Inter Nodel Tournament in the Indore Nodal Team. The team won the State Level Inter Nodel Tournament and after that Parth Sarthi, Devanshu Upadhyay and Paresh Pagariya had selected in the RGPV team for West Zone Inter University Hockey Tournament.

 AITR Is Only Team In the Gymnastic men’s title of the Indore Nodal Level Inter Collegiate Tournament organized by the Malwa Institute of Technology, Indore sponsored by the RGPV, Bhopal. On the basis of outstanding performance in the Selection Trials the Full Team of AITR had been selected for the State Level Inter Nodal Tournament in the Indore Nodal Team Names of the Team members Sourabh Agrawal, Mohit Soni ,Lakshaya Malhotra. The team Runners – up on the State Level Inter Nodal Tournament and after that Mohit Soni and Lakshay Malhotra  had  selected in the RGPV team for All India Inter University Gymnastic Tournament.

 AITR also Runners up in the Kho-Kho men’s title of the Indore Nodal Level Inter Collegiate Tournament organized by the LNCT Indore sponsored by the RGPV, Bhopal. On the basis of outstanding performance in the tournaments Michal Viyali had been selected for the State Level Inter Nodal Tournament in the Indore Nodal Team.
