Salary: $85,150 - 153,925 per year Requirements:

• We require candidates to possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical degree, with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. You should have 2-8 years of relevant technical experience and a proven track record of implementing automated software testing principles. Basic competency in software development in either C#/.NET, C++, Java, Python, or Ruby programming languages is essential. You must have experience writing unit and integration tests using unit test frameworks. In addition, we seek individuals with a strong aptitude for the technical skills required for software testing, configuration management, and software quality engineering concepts. Experience developing test methods and procedures for software products using scripting and/or compiled languages is preferred, along with strong analytical and process improvement skills, a personal drive for detail, and quality workmanship. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and good communication skills are also needed.

Responsibilities:

• As an Aviation Software Test Engineer, I will involve you in direct participation as an integral team member, performing key roles in test planning, test strategy and design, test execution, software engineering processes, and providing recommendations on product quality. You will also be responsible for reviewing, editing, and generating various documents used for engineering and testing purposes per industry standards. This position focuses on automated testing, development of robust software test infrastructures and frameworks, integration testing, informal manual testing, formal software qualification testing, fielding and support, and maintenance of our software products, which range from analysis tools/simulations to mission planning software and components of mission-critical systems.
