We are a wellness focused cannabis dispensary. Our stores offer a wide selection of the finest strains of flower, concentrates, topicals, and edibles. We are a deli style dispensary offering a wide range of products. We strive to provide our customers with a great experience and the ability to take an active role in their wellness through the use of our products.

Position Summary :

The Cannabis Data Analyst will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting data across all departments, including sales, inventory, compliance, marketing, and operations to create meaningful reports and dashboards. Using line-of-business BI tools, this role will provide actionable insights to stakeholders to optimize retail operations, improve efficiency, enhance sales and marketing strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the company's overall growth objectives.

Position Hours Details :

  • Core working Hours: 8:30am-5pm Mon-Fri
  • Weekly Overtime: none, if requested, sporadically
  • Weekend Work: none, if requested, sporadically
  • Travel: none, if requested, sporadically

Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :

  • Visualize data in Looker for dashboarding and self-service business intelligence.
  • Use SQL or Snowflake to query core data warehouse tables.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret business data across all locations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports to track sales performance, inventory trends, and key business metrics.
  • Create and manage interactive dashboards using BI tools to provide real-time insights for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven solutions and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Monitor and validate data accuracy and integrity across reports and dashboards.
  • Provide clear and concise presentations of data findings and insights to leadership.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging analytics tools to continuously improve reporting processes.
  • Keeps up to date with regulatory, technical, industry, as it pertains to the technological footprint throughout the organization.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field experience of 5+yrs (preferred)
  • Experience working in the with cannabis industry (Required)
  • Experience with Dutchie POS or other cannabis industry POS systems (Required)
  • Experience visualizing data in Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools
  • Expert level proficiency with BI tools, databases, and system management platforms
  • Must be local to Marquette, MI or willing to relocate (Required)
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Ability to analyze, research and resolve issues.
  • Adheres to Information Security Policies at all times.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to effectively and efficiently deal with a diverse group of employees, technicians, and vendors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of retail structure and operations
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective time-management and prioritization skills
