Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all maintenance operations and processes.
• Draft, interpret, and guide assigned CAPEX projects.
• Manage resources, financial elements, and project timelines.
• Promote and exemplify company values, group policies, and procedures.
• Develop and execute a proactive maintenance strategy.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and standards by all departmental personnel and subcontractors.
• Standardize work processes through established Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Create and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for facilities, installations, and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and rectify issues.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation tasks.
• Assign repair timelines and assess repair cost estimates.
• Monitor expenses and manage the maintenance budget.
• Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance records.
• Administer budgets and authorize expenditures.
• Ensure the availability of essential tools and equipment.
• Manage equipment safety stock and place orders for new supplies as needed.
• Forecast, procure, and negotiate prices for spare parts inventory.
• Recruit and manage subcontractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Implement and monitor maintenance KPIs (MTBF, preventive maintenance execution, OEE ratio) and financial KPIs (budget adherence, cost reduction initiatives).
• Establish and sustain the 5S program within the team area.
• Address emergencies and develop troubleshooting protocols.
• Act as a change agent to foster a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Seek innovative methods to enhance productivity and minimize costs.
• Manage technical documentation of facilities, installations, and equipment in accordance with Quality Management System standards.
• Oversee and process maintenance SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests).
• Supervise recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure optimal quality and resource levels for anticipated workloads, timelines, and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the relevant field.
• 5+ years of pertinent experience along with team leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of CMMS is essential.
• Familiarity with equipment in use and understanding of maintenance methodologies and techniques.
• Understanding of asset management principles, best practices on the shop floor, and risk management.
