We are looking for a motivated and passionate Chiropractor to join our Chiropractic office full time in Bethel, AK. If you are a DC who is passionate about the benefits of Chiropractic care, has great manual adjusting skills, and is a team player who enjoys working in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team to provide your patients with the highest quality care, then we want to hear from you! Bethel is the main hub for many of the surrounding native villages, the main port of the Kuskokwim River in the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta and is one of the largest cities in Alaska. It's also home to the K-300 dogsled race and Cama-I, the largest Native arts festival in Alaska.
About us:
We are a growing multidisciplinary practice that has the combine 26 years of experience treating the community with the highest level of care. We have a dedicated team of chiropractors, licensed massage therapists, physical therapists, and support staff who collaborate to bring comprehensive care to those that need it most. We have locations throughout the state of AK, and we are dedicated to helping patients achieve their wellness objectives- combining skill and expertise that spans the entire chiropractic wellness spectrum. Within our office in Bethel, we have a PT, 2 LMTs, and an office manager that collaborate to provide our patients with the highest quality care possible.
Duties:
-Perform initial exams and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports)
-Take and review Diagnostic imaging/X-rays
-Evaluate findings and determine diagnosis
-Develop appropriate treatment care plans
-Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, take-home stretches and exercises/treatment plans, benefits of continued chiropractic care
-Treatment, Chiropractic Care- manual adjustments, rehab and various physiotherapies and modalities
-Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes) in Chirotouch database
-Writing referral and work release notes
-Work cooperatively with the multidisciplinary team and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
-Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- regular reassessments
Requirements:
-Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program (DC)
-Active Chiropractic license in AK
-Experience with ChiroTouch software a bonus
Schedule:
-Full time
-No Weekend work
Salary (range):
-$8k per month
