Strong interpersonal skills and experience working directly with adolescents (and parents) in a sports medicine or psychology field.

Experience recruiting, screening, and performing data collections on human subjects.

Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coordinating research supported by extramural (e.g., NIH, DoD, VA) funding.

History of maintaining and auditing research study records in compliance with the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Experience with concussion assessment or psychophysiological (e.g., EMG, EEG) methods.

Familiarity with data management, processing, wrangling, and analysis through software such as REDCap, RStudio, MATLAB, or others.
