We protect property rights through the careful examination of each property history to ensure they are free of liens and other title defects. Position Details – Title Assistant

The Commercial Title Assistant is responsible for assisting the department with administrative tasks associated with issuing title insurance commitments.

Essential functions include:

  • Maintain and organize files and documents
  • Perform accurate data and order entry of customer and business related information
  • Search title records and compile chains of title
  • Communicate effectively with interneal and external customers, as as well as other business partners
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service by knowledgeably answering customer queries or concerns
  • Assisting Title Department staff with administrative tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on occasion as needed
  • The ability to obtain a State of Kansas Title Insurance License is required within your first 6 months of employment – the company will provide assistance if needed
  • Previous office experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of related work experience is preferred
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Google Suite and/or Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Dependability, strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Type:  Full time, Experience Required

Schedule:  Monday to Friday
