Customer Success Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Contract Duration: Through March 2026

Target Start Date: October 1, 2025

About the Opportunity

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Success Specialist to support a high-profile industry event for one of our top partners in the live and digital events space. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader known for bringing professionals together through conferences and exhibitions.

As a key member of the client experience team, you’ll work directly with event sponsors and exhibitors to ensure they receive maximum value from their investment. From onboarding through event execution, you’ll manage deliverables, maintain communication, and solve issues quickly to enhance the client journey. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage sponsor/exhibitor deliverables with precision and timeliness.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries using Freshdesk or similar ticketing systems.
  • Deliver cadence communications, reminders, and success updates to clients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Event Operations, Marketing, Content, Registration, and Sales teams.
  • Assist in webinars or client-facing meetings (on-camera experience is a plus).
  • Support post-event reporting and reconciliation activities, including data validation in Excel.
  • Travel to Las Vegas, NV from March 9-12, 2026 , to support onsite event logistics.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or exhibitor fulfillment.
  • Professional communication style with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Freshdesk preferred).
  • Highly organized, with an eye for detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and learning new systems independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data accuracy.
  • Located in Chicago, IL with the ability to commute onsite 2–3 days per week.
  • Willingness to travel to Las Vegas in March 2026.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with event technology platforms (e.g., Map Your Show, CSI, EV2).
  • Previous involvement supporting sponsorship/exhibitor programs at live or hybrid events.
  • Experience within large, matrixed organizations and cross-departmental collaboration.
