Our client, a leader in golf equipment and apparel, has an excellent opportunity for an Informatica Consultant to work on a contract opportunity. Work will be on-site in Carlsbad, CA. The Informatica Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Informatica Cloud (IICS), integrating APIs, and working with cloud technologies in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $40 - $80 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:· Design, develop, and maintain robust ELT/ETL pipelines using Informatica Cloud (IICS).
· Build and support integrations and APIs leveraging Informatica Cloud.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business goals.
· Maintain and optimize existing data workflows and systems for performance and reliability.
· Work with enterprise-level RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server to manage and transform data.
· Develop and maintain data models and support data warehouse architecture.
· Implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, including deployment and monitoring.
· Utilize messaging systems like Kafka for real-time data processing and integration.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
· Ensure timely delivery of projects while managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
· Document technical processes and provide support for production systems.
Experience Requirements:· Informatica Cloud (IICS): Strong hands-on experience in developing and maintaining solutions.
· ETL/ELT Development: Proven track record of building scalable and reliable data pipelines from scratch.
· API Integration: Experience in designing and managing APIs and integrations using Informatica.
· RDBMS Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server, including writing complex queries and performance tuning.
· Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Blob Storage, etc.).
· Messaging Systems: Familiarity with Kafka or similar technologies for streaming data.
· Data Modeling: Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
· Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile teams and delivering in iterative cycles.
· Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Education Requirements:· B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experience
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
