Job Description

Our client, a highly regarded midsized firm with an active and respected White Collar and Investigation practice is seeking a driven, detail oriented Litigation Associate with 4-to–5 years of demonstrated experience in white collar criminal defense, regulatory enforcement, and complex government investigations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team that handles sophisticated matters on behalf of corporate and individual clients facing federal and state investigations, prosecutions, and enforcement actions. Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills are required.

The Associate will:

  • Represent corporate and individual clients in federal and state investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, and criminal proceedings.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research, draft motions, memoranda, and pleadings in connection with white collar criminal defense and parallel civil proceedings.
  • Prepare clients for interviews, proffers, depositions, and trial testimony.
  • Manage discovery, including complex document reviews, privilege analyses, and regulatory productions.
  • Participate in internal investigations on behalf of multinational companies.

Experience in the following required:

  • Corporate accounting and securities fraud (including SEC and DOJ matters)
  • Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations
  • Financial institution fraud and anti-money laundering (AML) issues
  • Construction industry fraud and public corruption allegations
  • Consumer protection and advertising fraud cases
  • Criminal antitrust investigations

The ideal candidate must have 4-to–5 years of white collar and regulatory litigation experience in a top-tier Big Law or midsize firm setting with substantial exposure to white collar criminal defense, regulatory investigations, or complex commercial litigation involving financial misconduct. NY Bar admission required; additional federal clerkship or prosecutorial experience a plus. Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school. Compensation includes salary ($200K-$225K) plus liberal bonus and outstanding benefits package.
