Job Description

The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting providers with
patient care, performing appropriate procedures, MA is also responsible for maintaining records and interacting in a professional, friendly manner with patients
and family member. The MA is to fulfill the responsibilities in accordance
with the Practice's Values,

Principle Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Assisting healthcare providers with patient communication, including
responding to inquiries via phone, email, or telehealth platforms.

Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, follow-ups, and medical
tests.

Maintaining and updating electronic health records (EHR) accurately.

Processing referrals, prescriptions, and prior authorizations as
directed by healthcare providers.

Coordinating lab results, imaging, and test reports with the healthcare
team.

Relaying provider instructions to patients and following up on treatment
plans.

Requirements:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or similar healthcare
qualification (preferred).
Previous experience in a medical assistant or healthcare support role,
preferably in a remote setting.
Proficiency in using EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and office
software.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 25.00 30.00 Per Hour
