Job Description

We have an opening for a medical assistant, four days 10-hour shift from 7:00am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday. EPIC knowledge and experience are valuable assets to have for this position. We are looking for a CCMA, experienced MA or CNAII.

Provide patients with excellent care, record and report chief complaints, check vital signs, and input information into EPIC for physicians. Perform various tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering telephones, demonstrating the use of equipment, preparing examination rooms, and ensuring patient comfort. Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any unusual conditions to the physician.

Starting wages $19-$22 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient care
• Provides direct care to patients, including assisting with procedures
• Performs exam preparation
• Vitals
• Rooming patient
• Assists with obtaining information for patient care
• Chart prep
• Prior authorizations
• Lab reports
• Clean and stocked rooms
• Prescription refills

Additional Task:

• Assist with referrals and other documentation requirements
• Assist with exams
• Patient triage calls
• Assist the clinical manager as needed.

Must be able to multitask, detail-oriented, dependable, great with computers, professional, and a team player.

Must pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
