Tangled Tails is hiring skilled Groomers and dedicated Apprentices to join our tight-knit "Style Pack" in Altoona, IA. We offer the stable hourly pay, full tips, real bonuses, and professional respect that a true pet stylist deserves.

The Opportunity:

As a key member of our Style Pack, you’ll deliver grooms that are not only beautiful but safe and low-stress.

• Experienced Groomers will take the lead on consulting with clients, recommending our high-value spa upgrades, and executing full grooms with artistic detail and unwavering attention to safety.
• Apprentices will enter our paid mentorship program, assisting senior stylists with bathing, prep, and handling while learning the entire craft through structured, hands-on training.

This Is for You If:

• You have a passion for pets and an eye for detail. We welcome all experience levels!
• For Experienced Stylists (2+ years): You bring your own professional tools (clippers, shears, etc.) and a desire for a stable, respectful environment. A portfolio is highly encouraged.
• For Apprentices: You bring a strong work ethic, a love for learning, and a desire to build a real career. We'll provide the training and tools to get you started.
• You are a master of gentle, low-stress handling techniques.
• You are reliable, professional, and dedicated to excellence.
